Meet our 2021 Chair, Rev. Dr. Walter J. Arrington

The MLK Commission is truly blessed to be headed by the distinguished Rev. Dr. Walter J. Arrington. Rev. Arrington is one of the original members of the MLK Commission which was founded in 1992. He is dedicated to promoting and implementing the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. Arrington is the son of the late Reverend Eddie Arrington, Sr. and Annie M. Arrington of Massillon, OH. He serves as the pastor of the Peoples Baptist Church of Canton, OH. He was educated in the Massillon, OH public school system; Miami University of Oxford, OH; the Stephen F. Oxford Institute for Biblical Preaching in Memphis, TN; and WHW Expository Preaching and Teaching Ministries of Los Angeles, CA. He received his Master’s Degree in Theological Studies and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Faith Evangelical Seminary in Tacoma, WA. He is married to Eileen and they have three children Michael, DeAngelo and Ericka. They are also the proud grandparents of Moses Frank Ware. May we continue to prosper under your guidance Rev.
